Additional traces with wire

When I create additional traces with the wire command and connect them to a

net, the nets are still indicated as separate.  Is this normal?

Also be sure to use the 'NET' command to connect things up, NOT the

    'WIRE' command.

The "WIRE" command only draws LINES, not TRACES.  A TRACE connects

pins/pads of parts.  A TRACE is associated with a NET name.  If you

insist, a WIRE can be converted into a TRACE by NAMING the WIRE to an

existing NET name.  Confusing, isn't it ?
