Hi,
Does anyone know what is the "Best" Autorouter configuration? I only have
the Default2.ctl and the Myboardfilename.ctl versions to play with.
Typically my board complexity is as follows:-
70 x 60 mm size board
200 x SMD pads
25 x thru hole components
with settings :-
8 mil clearances
8 mil track width,
20 mil minimum drill
12 mil Restring Pads
8 mil Restring Vias
This gives me 110 x Vias -using default2.ctl
I want to reduce the number of Vias to a bare minimum.
I have tried all types of moving components in different positions and
different sides of the board, etc. and 110 Vias is about the best I can get
without reducing the tolerances too much.
Can Anyone recommend any alternative Autorouter configurations that may be
better than my two?
