Remove milling layer

Hi everyone,

I created an eagle PCB design based on board design imported. (a raspberry pi hat).
In this design, a milling hole was incorporated but I don't need that so I want to remove the lines in this layer but I can't delete them.
I tried to create new lines and see how i could remove them but also couldn't remove the new lines (except with ctrl+z) .


I tried different approach.

  1. try to select the lines with the group tool
  2. cmd : group all;

These approach let me with nothing selected so I can't delete them.

 

My question is, how can I remove everything on layer 46 since I can't select a thing?

    If you deselect all layers except layer milling(46), group and delete

    does not work, then this layer is brought in by a library. That means

    only in that library you can remove  layer 46.

    You could also create the same device without this layer (copy & paste

    it to a different name).

     

    If you ask questions it helps if you provide your eagle version.

    Indeed, especially since recent versions (9.x) have a selection filter

    that causes a lot of people to have a lot of trouble like this.
