Polygon Error in EAGLE 5.0

Hello all,

 

I'm trying EAGLE 5.0 Freeware and I'm getting an illegal polygon error and

I'm unable to generate the layer.  It's apparently an overlapping polygon,

but why am I able to generate the layer without an error in EAGLE 4.16?

    I fear that without some more detailed information, noone here can help

    you. What exactly are you doing that generates that error?

    Here in short my answer to Terri's problem:

     

    "The polygon contour of the polygon is not drawn proper enough.

      If you take a look at position (15.2 25.9) and move the

      polygon wire a little bit to the left it will be calculated.

      At this position the contour wire overlaps slightly and causes

      the error.

      In 4.16 it was not reported as a problem, this is correct.

      But there are lots of improvements and changes in the algorithm,

      so that this overlap causes an error message now.

      And to be honest, it should have been reported in 4.1, as well."
