I am having problems installing (Windows XP)
I do not have any older copies but I did use the free version which I have
removed.
When I try to install I get the initial splash screen I select English and
Install program ....nothing happens.

Do you have sufficient user rights to install programms?
Maybe your firewall blocks installing programs?
I have the same problem.Now have to run it through Linux.
Since we didn't get any response it's hard to say what's going on.
But I think it must have to do with the rights management.
What you could try else:
Extract the EAGLE archive file and simply copy the files to any
folder on your computer. Create an icon on the Desktop and start EAGLE.

Its not an access problem. I am the admin on my machine.
Also its not an install over the web app so I don't see what firewall
setting have to do with it.
I installed on another machine and copied over. It sucks as uninstall will
not work.
