Libray 4.1 <=> 5.1

I just got a library created in version 4.1.

What i see now in the schematics in version 5.1 is the text P$2 at a

terminal from the device. When used in version 4.1 it doenst show.

Must i do something to use a library created in 4.1 to be used in 5.1

No, you dont' have to do something special. Simply use it.

The texts that are shown at the pin are defined in the Symbol

with the CHANGE VISIBLE command. I can't imagine that this

setting changes while updating from 4.1 to 5.

Could you please verify the "visible" setting in the 4.1 library?

    Richard,

I created the device for Harry in version 4.1

In the symbol the "Visible" parameter is indeed set to "Both" because I

renamed the pins as P$1 => Vs, P$2 => GND and P$3 => Q and the package pins

are named 1, 2 and 3. As you can see from the attachment, both pin and pad

names are correct when I insert it in a schematic in version 4.1

In version 5.1 however, the pad names appear as P$2, P$3 and P$4 as you can

see in the pic that Harry sent (BTW, I wonder why not P$1, P$2 & P$3?).

Looks to me as there is a potential conversion issue when using library

symbols created in 4.1 in version 5.1

Can you please send me the library file of version 4.1, so

I can try to reproduce this?

Meanwhile Robert sent me the library file. There are no

    differences in version 4.1, 5.0, 5.1.

Harry, could you please check the pad names of the package

that is used in your layout? Simply activate the option

    "Display pad names" in Options/Set/Misc.

Did you define a further package variant in the library?
