Creating a gap in a ground plane

I have a part on a four layer board which needs to have no ferrous material under it. Currently, all four layers have a fill of some sort. What I'd like to do is draw a sort of "negative" polygon surrounding the part so that the ground/power planes will stop at the part. Is this possible?

There aren't any inner layer restriction layers in Eagle. You will have to trim a polygon to fit your needs. If you already have it in place you can use the split command to redefine parts of the edge.
