Auto-Smash

It is quite rare that a symbol, both on the schematic and on the PCB, can actually be placed without moving the name and values.  Is there a possibility that a check-markable item under the View menu could be added the "Auto-Smash" or "Smash ALL" ?

Yes, I know that a parts can be quite easily smashed in multiple ways,  but this gets a little old after a while.

    Yes, I know that a parts can be quite easily smashed in multiple ways,  but

    this gets a little old after a while.

     

     

     

    Your symbol part (library) should have a proper design so that you almost

    never need to move the texts. Personally, I only move resistors names when

    they are stacked too close.

     

    For the layout, that's another story. I usually hide the names layer and

    focus on a proper electrical routing. Then when all is done, I show the

    tNames and tOrigin, select all, smash all. So I only need to do it once.
