Auto-Smash

It is quite rare that a symbol, both on the schematic and on the PCB, can actually be placed without moving the name and values.  Is there a possibility that a check-markable item under the View menu could be added the "Auto-Smash" or "Smash ALL" ?

Yes, I know that a parts can be quite easily smashed in multiple ways,  but this gets a little old after a while.

Then you need to take more care building your libraries if you have this

problem often in schematics.  This is really quite rare for me in

schematics.  I do, however, have different parts for different

orientations.  For example, a horizontal resistor is different from a

vertical one, precisely so that the text can be sensibly arranged around

    each.

On the board it's different because you can't predict layout and placement

of vias when you make the package.  There, smashing everything and cleaning

up the silkscreen is just part of the process of making a board.  However,

even then you only do a single smash once.

Yes, like group everything and then smash.
