Hello,
Is there a way I can export a CAD ASCII file from eagle? Ive tried a few of the ULP's but they weren't what the board assembler was looking for. Thanks for any help!

Hi Michael
This question has been asked before over the years and EagleCad does not
provide a solution. I suspect V6's XML format will currently not suffice.
The assembler must be able to make use of the format of the provided ASCII
file.
To date there are many ascii formats that an assembler can use. Take a look
at this link http://www.eurolectron.com/Digitaltest-CADlst.htm
So going forward we should learn what is the best approach to getting this
functionality.
With that in mind, who is the assembler you are dealing with? Their web site
may list the ascii file formats they can accept.
Having looked into this 'a little', ODB++ will likely be desirable in the
long term and would be a big nut to crack. GenCAD seems do-able sooner
provided it is accepted by the majority of assemblers and provides
sufficient information for them.
