assign pan to mouse scroll

Hello,

I would like to assign actions for panning to the left/right and panning

up/down to "ctrl + scroll wheel" and "shift+ scroll wheel". I would also

like to remap the zoom function to "ctrl+shift + scroll wheel". Is this

possible? Can someone point me in the right direction as far as what

commands I should be looking at. I'm very new to eagle, but if I am

going to use this tool, I would really like an interface similar to dxp.

I don't really care how much code I have to write to make this happen,

I just need to know that it is possible.

Thanks,

~Carl

I do not know how to change Egale mouse actions, but if you are on Linux

with an advanced mouse, take a look at btnx

http://www.ollisalonen.com/btnx/ which works marvellous for my Logitexh

    Revolution.

I also had problems with moving in alt grid until i found where in KDE

settings i could turn of KDE grabbing that key combination.

This works great. I have setup btnx to map the scroll up and scroll down

to F8 and F9, respectively, though you could in theory map it to

whatever you wanted. However, after this I also had to use xmodmap to

change the way X server relays these events:

    xmodmap -e "pointer 1 2 3 14 15 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 4 5"

Then eagle receives scroll up and scroll down as F8 and F9. Now I use a

script to assign specific commands to F8, C+F8 etc... However, how do I

make the window pan to the right/left/up/down. Is there someway that I

can reference the current window position in coordinates and then add a

    vector to it?

Like I have seen examples of using "window" to pan to the mouse:

    Window (@);

But I haven't seen anything referencing the current window.

    Thanks,

    ~Carl
