IC doesn't show all of the pins on the schematic view.

I found the part I needed in the part listing on Cadsoft Eagle. It shows the proper amount of pins on the board view but

doesn't have all of the connections needed on the schematic view. This is probably a noob question but either my googlefu is weak or

there isn't any info regarding this... or the question is so stupid nobody bothers to ask it. image

Below are two example I found in the components list. Both are 16 pin monostable multivibrators but no all of the pins are listed on the schematic view.

    Hi

You have one part. To get the power pins on the schematic (8(gnd),16(vcc)) you need to right click on the part and select INVOKE, a menu will appear with all other options greyed out, apart from PWRN Request, click on this and the pins will appear on the schematic.

Ok, so now that I have that it's still not really individual pins on the schematic.

So you know what I'm trying to accomplish I'll give you a screenshot of the circuit I'm trying to make.image

    Hi

IC1A and IC1B (74123N) on the Eagle schematic is the MHC123 on you application circuit. Just add the other components for your circuit, and wire up to the relevant pins.

So add a 10K resistor and a BC547 transistor ( R4 and T1 ), wire one end of R4 to pin 13 (Q) of IC1A, and the other end of R4 to the base of T1.

Then when you switch to Board view, you can see the parts connected.

So what do I do with pins 9, 10, & 11 that are grounded on the schematic but don't have pins on the schematic?

And the bar that is pin 8 & 16, do I just connect anywhere on either of the lines for that pin?

Ok a couple of pics...first one below show 8, 9,10,&11 connected GND symbol from SUPPLY1 library, also shown are VCC connections

Pic below is the board view with tracks routed....bit rough but you should get the idea..

It will become clearer as you get more experienced...need any more help just ask...
