Anchor component to grid

thewizard83
thewizard83 over 13 years ago

I almost finished a circuit; but there are some components which are not right placed on the grid. The same things appens for wire so that placea node is impossible.

How can i fix the position of component or wire on the grid?

I tried to modify the dimension of the grid but it was unuseful.

Thanks.

A very annoying problem...usually happens when you change the grid size after already adding components.

I am a practical person and find it best to either delete the board and start again, or change ALT to 'finest' in GRID display, and keep ALT held down when wiring so that you can get finer control of your cursor. image

Changing the grid in the layout editor has no effects on the already

    placed objects.

If you have to change the position of an object, use CTRL + MOVE in

order to bring the component onto the current grid or change the

location via properties or you could also use MOVE with coordinates

in the command line, like   MOVE U1 (2.3  7.15)
