Modifying a downloaded board file

Hi, so i'm currently in the process of building my own motor control system using pc board files that I downloaded from the internet and have run into a problem with sourcing one of the parts. The part in question is a 2.5mm TRS female jack. As far as i can tell the specific jack needed cannot be bought in my country.

I have been able to buy a similar TRS female jack though but the problem is that the pin structure is different. Here is a screenshot of the original jack pin structure from the .brd file:

The five green pads on the left are for the TRS pins. The right one is not. Here's the manufacturer diagram for the original TRS jack showing the pin numbers:

This is what the TRS jack that i could find looks like:

and here's the manufacturer diagram:

What I'd like to know is, how would i go about modifying the .brd file to accommodate the new TRS jack? I have never designed a pc board before and so I'm pretty clueless as to how i should do this. It seems like i need to find the library that this part is in but I cannot find it anywhere. I'm guessing it's because it's somebody else's custom library part that I don't have in my library. How can I edit this component?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

oh and I'm aware of the fact that the TRS jack that I have found is 3.5mm instead of 2.5mm like the original but this shouldn't be a problem because if I can get this new jack to work, I can just use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor on it.

Never mind, I saw there was an earlier post that was of a very similar topic to mine. It took a bit of trial and error but I managed to sort out my problem. Here's what my new component looks like:
