Hi, I am new to Eagle 6.2.0 and starting my first small project using a 4017N. When making the schematic I place the IC and then find that I cannot make connections to pins 8 and 16 they are not listed in the IC. These pins are shown when you look at the 40XX.lib (4017) but not when add to the schematic. Does anyone know why this is or how I can fix the problem?

Thanks that what I needed to know. 
Also don't forget that you don't use "wire" to wire the schematic, but use
"net" instead (having made that mistake myself along with many others 
)
