Schematic Editor;  Board Editor >> “Pan” the screen

Need to incorporate the ability to “Pan” the screen in the “Schematic Editor” and the “Board Editor”

Adobe products use the Spacebar to change the curser to a hand, then you left click and drag the screen to where you want it.

Another method would be to allow use of the arrow keys to pan the screen. up, down, left, right.

Is there a way to assign this to a key?

I just have a two button mouse.

I just have a two button mouse.

Using EAGLE with only a two-button mouse is a VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY,

VERY bad idea, because it TREMENDOUSLY slows down the drawing process.

It is possible, of course, but using the middle mouse button for panning

AND THE SCROLL WHEEL for zooming is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more

useful and more than ten times as fast! AND you'll produce designs with

MUCH less errors, because with a scroll-wheel mouse, you always zoom in

sufficiently, because it's SO easy and SO fast and SO useful.

Buy a scroll-wheel mouse immediately. If you don't want to do this,

EAGLE will NOT be fun to use, because you always have to use some

buttons to zoom and scroll bars for panning. That's a REAL pain and

    EXTREMELY slow working.

As a suggestion, a gaming mouse.. really improves productivity for applications like EAGLE. It has a smoother (therefore quicker therefore more productive!) scroll wheel, more adjustment options and additional buttons for customization. Plus it's comfortable.
