Schematic Editor;  Board Editor >> “Pan” the screen

Need to incorporate the ability to “Pan” the screen in the “Schematic Editor” and the “Board Editor”

Adobe products use the Spacebar to change the curser to a hand, then you left click and drag the screen to where you want it.

Another method would be to allow use of the arrow keys to pan the screen. up, down, left, right.

    Hi Bob,

    hth,

    Jorge Garcia

There is another option that everyone is forgetting.  It's old so maybe

many don't remember or ever knew about it.

From "help set", scroll to the bottom and look at the option

"Interface.UseCtrlForPanning".  EAGLE used to use the CTRL key for panning

and you can get that functionality back.  To do so you would just enter the

    following in the command line:

    set Interface.UseCtrlForPanning 1

    and to turn that off

    set Interface.UseCtrlForPanning 0

This setting is "sticky" so EAGLE will continue to behave like that until

you undo it with the above command (even through exiting the program).

I haven't done this recently and it may mess up newer functionality that

uses the middle button, but it's worth a try.

    Cheers,

    James.
