Can the select tool be made more intuitive?

This is either a bug or an unintuitive GUI. If it isn't a bug, I'm sure there are some reasons for this behavior but this could be made more intuitive.

Expected behavior: text under cursor selected

Actual behavior: text not selected, boarder selected

I don't get your point.

The whole eagle GUI is based on 'select command first then use it'

And that is exactly what your video shows. You activate the move tool,
then select a wire to move.

Eagle GUI works by 'select comand first then use it'
I selected the command first then went to use it, except I clicked on text and instead of selecting the text, Eagle selected a line some distance away.

Hi Nathan,

There are little cross-hair type markers next to each component on the screen; if you click on them, you can move the desired object.
Personally, I'd like to see this behavior kept, although I can see it could be confusing for the first time.
