Ubuntu 8.04 and eagle 5.3

Anyone know a Ubuntu howto to install the newest eagle 5.3 on my 64-bit

Ubuntu box.  Also, does the download from the CadSoft website support

64-bit?

    Open a terminal window in Ubuntu.

     

    login as sudo

    type sh "and the directory path where you have eagele"

     

    I usually just drag and drop the eagle down load into the terminal window.

     

    As for 64bit systems I don't know if it will work.
