Attribute !     of part C4 not found in board

Which EAGLE version do you use? I think this is a problem that

should be in the current EAGLE 5.3.5 beta.

I should have put the version in - 5.2.0 on Linux. I see there is a

released version of 5.3.0. Do you suggest I try that?

As far as I know 5.3.0 won't help. Try the current beta 5.3.5.

There it should be fixed (Sorry  for the typo above).
