Attribute !     of part C4 not found in board

I am finishing up a design and I added a capacitor. I set the attributes

on it and copied it three times. C1 and C2 generate no errors in the

ERC. C3 has "Attribute (2 spaces) of part C3 not found in board" and

"Attribute ! of part C3 not found in board"  C4 has the same to errors

plus 15 errors of "Attribute ! (several spaces - each error with

additional spaces) of part C4 not found in board"

 

Any suggestions?

    Which EAGLE version do you use? I think this is a problem that

    should be in the current EAGLE 5.3.5 beta.

    I should have put the version in - 5.2.0 on Linux. I see there is a

    released version of 5.3.0. Do you suggest I try that?
