Library Component for a SMD 10Way Single in Line Header 2.54 Pitch

Hello forum....

 

I am tearing my hair out looking for (what I would consider) and everyday standard part. I am looking for an SMD 10Way Single In Line Header with a 2.54 Pitch (FCI 95293-101B10LF). I know someone is going to say "make one", but I would have thought that there would be one already.

 

If anyone could help me find this component, I would be much obliged? I find the search utility in Eagle quite frustrating at times.

    It's not there.

     

    For searching for packages I don't use the search from the control

    panel. That is frustrating. I open a board editor and start an add from

    there. That searches for packages more efficiently and you can scan

    through them quickly to see the matches.

     

    The attached script will give you most of what you want in the package.

    Run it in your library where your through hole 1 x10 header is and add

    this package as a variant remembering to specify a variant name and

    connect the pins to pads.

    Hi Warren,

    If you don't mind, how did you create the script? Was it written manually in a text editor or was it somehow exported from the within the Library Editor GUI?

    lot)

    Deleted all but the new package 

    Added GRID MM at the beginning and GRID LAST at the end
