polygon void ver 4.16r2

Sorry if this is an old subject, only just got round to using my v4.16

Is there a way to do a polgon void on a "normal" layer used for drawing

polygons to be used for power supplies . I want a permanent void in a

polygon(1). So far I can only think to draw another polygon(2) with a higher

rank inside (1) and then delete this polygon(2) to leave the void.  However

this is prone to forgetting to do to the delete.

TIA for any advice,

Dave Wells

This has come up a few times.  You can use two overlapping U-shaped polygons

(same rank), each drawn around the void area.
