Updated a library and ALL pad shapes on the brd changed to round

Overwrote Pad Diameter as well

Shapes in DRC set to get pad shape from library

 

destroyed my board the day before ship ...

      I suspect you have more than one library with the same name. If that

    is the case and you perform an "Update all" then the first library name

    that matches will update the board. It could well not be the one you

    expect to update the board. Check your Options > Directories >

    libraries. The paths are checked in the order they are listed. Check

    there is no repetition of library names between paths.
