Installation of update

Question

I have only used Eagle for one day, so this question is as newbie as it can be:

Can I install a new version of Eagle (in this case, update from 6.5.0 to 6.6.0) over the existing version (in the same folder)? Or do I have to install it in a new folder and then uninstall the previous version?

Hi Olav,

By default, every installation of EAGLE stands alone and is unaware of

previous installs on the machine. I would advise against installing

EAGLE in the same location of your previous install since you risk

overwriting any libraries files you may have stored in the lbr folder.
