Eagle 5.4.0 started crashing, Windows SP sp3

Eagle has started terminating, I have loaded no new programs or

drivers. I tried rolling windows back to when the system was stable.

Only Eagle is crashing, none of the other programs have this problem.

Has anyone else encountered this, and if so what can be done. I tried

re-installing but same problem. Although I did install into the same

directory and just overwrote the files.

    Does this happen only when you perform some particular action?

     

    Does ist happen with any board/schematic/library file, or only with

    a particular file?

     

    Please locate your eaglerc.usr file (you may need to search your

    disk for this) and rename it to, say, eaglerc.usr.bak (make sure EAGLE

    is not running while you do this).

    Does EAGLE still crash after this?
