Font and text size changes when frame placed in drawing

trainingsystems

Hi

I have just set up a new drawing Frame library part that matches (as near as possible) our approved company CAD drawing borders.

When I print out the library part everything looks OK but when I place this frame into a drawing the text font and sizes change so that text overflows boxes and looks poor.

Why does the frame change from the library part? I have used proportional for the font as this is the only one that looks anything like a normal Drawing Border font.

Is there any way to use a specific windows font in Eagle or just the fixed types already in the templates?

Thanks

Keep in mind that if you have always show Vector font on, the

proportional font will change to vector. On the board layout, Vector

type font is the only type of font supported by the Gerber standard, so

if you want a realistic view of the finished board on the layout you

    should use Vector font.

Only the three types of fonts that ship with EAGLE can be used.

    hth,

    Jorge Garcia
