Multiple Supply

You don't need to use supply symbols.

Net names are global. Simply name your nets correctly and LABEL them for

clarity and documentation.

You don't need to use supply symbols.

I find it much to error prone using labeled nets for power supply.

I don't mind creating special supply symbols as needed. It may be a

bit of work initially, but as soon as you have a set of them ...

Supply symbols have the big advantage to look like what they are.

And even more important: they rename the nets they are connected to.

Hmm, global net name may work fine for my purpose.

But as Lorenz says, supply symbols look like what they are, and it's the big advantage.

Now I think placing symbol (the shape is supply symbol, but it doesn't have any pin) at the end of the supply nets is temporary solution...

but then you have to name the net manually, and always make sure, that

the (pinless) symbol matches the net name.

And the net name is the crucial point here.

A normal supply symbol (with pin direction 'sup' that is) will rename

the net it gets connected to.

And if you connect different supply symbols to the same net you will

get a warning.
