Eagle brd and sch file format specification

Whats the deal with the BRD and SCH file format specification?

Are they described anywhere?

I am working on a content manatgement system for a client of mine, and they

would like to be able to view, but not edit, BRD and SCH files right inside

the content management system. The machines running the CMS will not have

Eagle installed on them.

Is the file specification publicly available, or even available via NDA ?

I think that's what is called "proprietary information". You'll hardly

    get any internals/details.

EAGLE has very powerful export capabilities by use of ULPs, you can

generate about any format you desire. This is all you can get.

I understand that this doesn't help you much in this case, since you

need EAGLE installed for running the ULPs. Maybe it's a solution to

install the freeware on one of the CMS machines and automatically run

the needed ULP(s) on that to generate the data for your CMS?
