Pad with two holes

A simple question but I cannot find an answer, so I hope someone can help.

I have a vertical 20mm PCB mount fuse. It has 4 through-hole pins, connected in two pairs. Can I make a pad with two holes but one schematic connection?

    You could extend one and join a second to that one on one side. Repeat for the other pair. schematic solved. But I think the board will still have four holes, Curious what purpose do you have?

    Hi Simon

     

    Yes you can.

    Create your library package and symbol.

    Then start to build the device.

    When you come to connecting the pins to the pads you connect one pad to

    a pin and then 'append the second pad to the same pin. Repeat for the

    other end of the fuse.

     

    Have a look at the manual that comes with Eagle. In the doc folder.

    Section 8.4 One Pin – Multiple Pads Connections
