OK to have brd dimension NOT to start at origin, that is, (0,0)?

Hi,

I have dilemma.  My brd design has to be 0.1 in. spacing, that is,

2.54mm spacing.  As you can see from the attached image, I can't have

the board dimension starts at the origin, the bottom left corner.  The

reason is that the red wires just under the green via would nearly touch

the bottom edge of the board, thus, violation DRC rules. If I move the

via up the next 0.1 in., then there is no DRC rule violation, but I have

a big gap now.  So, what I do now is moving origin, so that I won't have

a gap and still not having any DRC error.

As far as I know, that should be fine, correct?  At the end of the day,

it's the board's dimensions, regardless of its origin, is what counts?

Thanks

Sorry to clarify...It's not a via I that I wrote previously.  It's one

of the holes of one of the header pins.
