There is a little more in place than you have mentioned.

As the New name dialog only has an "OK" button and no "No" button, 'SET

CONFIRM YES' and 'SET CONFIRM NO' both confirm the dialog. As the Help says.

In your code you should place the CONFIRM instructions around the RENAME

every time, as the help says

SET CONFIRM YES

RENAME

SET CONFIRM OFF

By default you would always  'Change Name of... this Segment' as that is

what is preset.

To rename the entire net by default use the following:

set Cmd.Name.RenameEntireNetByDefault 1

That will swap the default selection in the dialog to another radio

button "all Segments on all Sheets"

So the only one missing is the "Every Segment on this sheet" when the

segments exist on other sheets as well. (Three radio buttons)

"Every Segment on this sheet" can be the default option, when there are

repeats of the net name on the current sheet and not on any other sheet.

So the auto confirm can be applied to

(1) this one Segment

(2) all Segments  (this sheet and/or all sheets)
