eagle custom libraries disappeared

Hello everybody,

I am using Eagle 7.6 and I am facing a problem I haven't seen before.

 

I have a set of custom libraries I created over the past years, which I store in a folder different than the standard Eagle Lib folder.

This has always worked well, but for some reason Eagle can't find them anymore

 

The situation:

- My custom libraries show up if I want to open a library in the control panel via File -> open -> library (see attachment 1)

- Only 1 library (connectors.lbr) shows up if I look in the library folder in the control panel  (see attachment 2)

- Only 1 library (connectors.lbr) shows up when I use the ADD function in the schematic editor.

 

If I go to Options -> directories, I can see that Eagle is pointing to my custom folder containing all my libraries.

 

Can somebody tell me why all the other libraries have disappeared? And...is there a way to solve this?

 

I hope to get a solution soon..

    I don't know, but if I were a betting man I'd lay odds it's something to

    do with Windows and the fact your directory falls under

    Libraries->Documents (or "My Documents" or C:\users\rene\Documents)

     

    As an experiment, use Windows explorer to copy that whole folder into,

    say, c:\working\eagle and point Eagle there. If I'm right, that being

    "just another folder" instead of a Special Magic Windows Thing should

    fix it.
