Air wire problems

1.  When I run ratsnest it says I still have 11 air wires, but I can't see

them.  Is there any way to highlight them?  I assume they're little stubs

left over from my lame routing.

 

2.  In the attached image, what are those gray hatched circles at the top?

I assume they're related to vias I placed and later ripped up (they're in

the middle of a trace I've turned off to make them visible), but I can't

get them to go away, either with ripup or delete (which generates an

error).  How can I get rid of them?  I was going to ask about the odd air

wire going off to the right, but I fixed it.

    Sounds like they're little stubs within a pad or between two tracks that

    already overlap. You could try temporarily turning off all layers apart

    from the airwires, note positions (or mark them on an unused Doc layer)

    before turning useful layers back on.

    overlap of two not-quite-concentric vias.
