How to find current shee t in ULP?

autodeskguest

I finally decided to write ULPs to go backwards and forwards one sheet in

the schematic editor, so that I could tie these to shortcut keys.

I looked at the ULP help again (version 7.7), and it appears the only

system state accessible to a ULP are the top level schematic, board, and

library structures, and then anything contained in them.  I looked over the

schematic structure again, but there appears to be no current state in

there, like the current schematic sheet.

How do I determine the current schematic sheet from a ULP?

One place that lots of documentation falls down is providing links to

common mistakes in searching for something.  For example "wire" who would

think you don't use "wire" to connect things up in a schematic.  I ran into

the same sort of thing the other day at Rockler Woodworking when I was

looking for some knobs.  The knobs they listed in the index were for

drawers etc, not what I was looking for - turns out they were listed under

"jigs" in the index.  Put a quick link in the index that says "knobs - see

also jigs" for example.  Same thing for "wire - see net".  You can find

anything with Google in less than a second ... after you spend 3 days

finding what the correct search term is !!
