Eagle V8 64 bit only?

It could also be some auto-selection because I tried download with a

64bit OS and the user agent may be evaluated.

 

And no I don't want to be asked why I want to use 32bit SW on an 64bit

I hope you're doing well. It was determined that since the overwhelming

majority of our downloads were for 64-bit that we would only support

64-bit architectures across Mac, Linux and Windows.

If enough people ask for 32-bit, we are willing to look into this.

Don't worry I won't ask why you want to run 32-bit software on a 64-bit

machine. I have to do that with other tools before so no worries.

We are 18 months on from when this thread was last active and nothing has changed in this regard. Autodesk EAGLE is available for 64-bit operating systems only. If you want to raise this with Autodesk you would be better to go onto their EAGLE forum and ask the question on there as their support team and developers are active on that forum. If you are truly stuck on 32-bit windows, how about dual booting to 64-bit Linux to run EAGLE? I know it's not ideal to be dual booting but if you are stuck and really need to run EAGLE on your current machine (assuming it's modern enough to run a 64-bit OS) then that might get you going.
