V8 update questions

Hi Morten,

I'm not 100% sure. I think designblocks are treated as a special type in

the file format. You can try it out now, it won't overwrite V7 it

installs to it's own directory.

 

2. I realize you have more programmers on the job now, but the history

of releases show that some times it is best to stay one version behind.

Will the subscription model even allow this?

It does, when a new update becomes available you will see a download

update button on the control panel. Click it when you want to, it will

tell you what the latest version is.

 

3. I have not seen any offer for upgrade from 7 to 8. Should I wait,

visit a webpage or do I have to explicitly ask someone?

It sounds to me like I need to be cafeful and backup my user folders..

This does not give a clear answer. What if I do intall latest, but find

bugs that requires be to go back a version?
