Eagle autorouter not working

That's probably because, when you moved things around, you left the

routed tracks all over the place! The autorouter will, for very good

reasons, only act on UNROUTED airwires. So if you have made a mess and

need some tracks re-routed, you must use RIPUP on them first.

Any idea how do you deal with tracks present in the schematic that don't appear on the pcb layout? They aren't showing at all in PCB layout, not even as airwires

Hi,

try "ERC" to check that board and schematic are consitant.

Have you draw the "tracks" in the schematic with the "wire" or with the

"net" command?

The "net" is the right one.

Are the nets connected to the pins of the symbols?

Try to move the symbol; the net have to move with the symbol like

a ribbon.

I had drawn with wires so I've changed to nets. Thats done the trick but how do I avoid wires crossing? I guess thats why I should use vias? Any pointer?

Hi,

the "wires" on the board or in the schematic?

On board: there a differnt layers witch you can use (top/Bottem)

If you use the "Route" command you can switch the layer with the

mouse button.

In schematic:

If you cross two nets they arenot connected. If you want do this you

have to use "junction".

That did help I mean't the wires on the board, I used different layers as you said and it created its own vias.

so I'm ready to create my gerber files and I've noticed that the onboard audio pro micro thats a component in my project seems to be adding its drill holes to the final gerbers. Any ideas how I eliminate drill holes, pads, vias etc that are part of a component only?
