    Hi Richard,

I'm using Eagle 4.16r2 and have a question about pads.  Our board house sometimes flags errors on pads and vias because the gerbers that are generated issue donuts and their DFM check may see a gap between the hole and the copper.  They would prefer we generate gerbers of copper layers with solid thruhole pads which, according to them, will eliminate the false hits.  I have not been able to figure out how to do this.  I want the drill hole visible during layout an DRC but would like to be able to issue filled pads in the gerber generation.  Thank you in advance.

    Hi Bennett,

our "librarian" who is creating our libraries is currently not in the office so I can't ask him about the 6mm spacing. You could modify the packages for your purpose so that you have them with a 10mm.

I did not find a MAX668 in the libraries available. Sorry, you have to create it by yourself or maybe post a request in the EAGLE forum I already mentioned in the answer before.

    Best regards,

    Richard

    Hi Klaus,

I am sorry I think this components are not yet available. You could post a question in the EAGLE support forum. Maybe one of the users already designed this.

You can access the EAGLE groups directly via nntp  news://news.cadsoft.de or you can use the mirrored groups

    here at element14.com (Forums).

    Regards,

    Richard
