EagleCad external wire

Hi! I'm new to EagleCad. I'm getting my first board ready to print. I have a separate circuit that I am going to need to connect to this pcb by a wire. It would be nice if I could have it wired to a hole in the board I could then solder my wire through.  How do you designate this in the software or is there a better way to do it?

  • I tend to use a pin header (from the pinhead library if I remember correctly) as you can include this is your schematic. Whilst they're intended for placing a 0.1" pitch header row I find they're also ideal if you want a wire - or more likely wires. The solder pads and holes are a nice size.
