Unable to connect SMD Components

Hi All

 

I am currently working on a project that requires me to make a PCB. I am having trouble connecting SMD components - SO18W300  and 1X03_SMD_RA_MALE (Sparkfun Connector) in Eagle CAD.

 

I am attaching the a screenshot for reference and the .brd file can be downloaded from File sharing and storage made simple

 

I would be grateful if anyone could offer some help.

    There are a number of problems I see with the board. When you route the board, be sure you are using the "net". otherwise the wire may not connect correctly to the component. Be aware that surface mount components will not connect to the bottom of the board.( pins 6 and 14 of large IC). Notice that the wire from R1 doesn't connect to R2 . It is close but not exactly connecting. Be sure the "airwires" are visible while you are routing the board. ( Layer 19). That way the highlight will let you know when the trace is properly connected.  I assume you are creating the board from a schematic. If not I would strongly suggest it.   Basic tutorials from Autodesk would be a great benefit. I too am a neophyte with Eagle.  Hope this helps.
