Layout Editor:: How to undelete part names and values

e14 Contributor
e14 Contributor over 16 years ago

Hello all,

I have a design that I had to pack in good and tight and as such I have deleted (not just turned off the layer) the component values and part numbers.

I now have more space on the board so I would like them back  Is there a way to undelete this information?

Many thanks

Mike

    Hi Michael,

as you can see, using Smash function, you can manoeuvre the Name and Value (Show in red Box) according to the position you desired without affecting the position of the symbol.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers

    Edmund

or you can use command "info", uncheck the "Smashed" in schematic or layout editor. then these "deleted" name and valuese can be back .

I think eagle should povide a button for "un-smash".
