Auto-router violates its own rules

Question

Hi -- I'm curious if I've got something configured wrong here. My impression is that the autorouter will unconditionally obey the rules established in the Tools->DRC and Tools->Auto dialogs, but I'm getting clearance errors on some autorouted tracks. Is this just a consequence of the routing grid being too coarse? It's set to 3 mil in this case. One of many examples is attached, where a 6mm trace/space rule is in effect but the autorouter has placed a track that's clearly less than 6 mm from another feature.

Hi John,

I think it's only possible for the author to delete the message. But I think it is not a problem to leave it as it is.

So the community can see that it is not a problem of the autorouter.
