Deleting all traces on a board.

Question

Hi Richard,

After I have routing a double sided board with the autorouter in Eagle 6.2. There remains a number of traces not routed.

They should be implemented manually. But the space between the components is to small.

I would like to delete all the traces, give a little more space between the components and then let autorouter routes the traces again.

However I can’t find how I can delete all traces.

Can you explain this to me?

Hi, simply type in command line RIPUP ; Then EAGLE asks to ripup all signals. That's it. Richard

Hi Jo,

I'm currently using Eagle v5.11.0, but, hopefully, the same steps are applicable also in v6.2...

To delete all traces, perform the following steps:

1) click "Ripup" icon

2) click "Group" icon

3) mark the area you'd like to delete all traces within (whole PCB in this your particular case)

4) click right mouse button and then select item "Ripup: Group" in shown menu.
