who know how to draw or find the symbols for vishay TSSP6P38,TSAL6200 and aplus APR9600 voice chip?
Hello, (here comes the copy of my answer to the same posting you made a bit earlier)
there are different sources for libraries:
First of all the libraries that come with EAGLE. If you are in the ADD dialogue for adding components into your schematic you can search for library components. In case of for example APR9600 try *9600* as search string. The asterisk works as a placeholder
"unsharpens" the search. EAGLE normally looks for exactly the given word.
Second we have source of additional libraries on the CadSoft website. Please take a look at http://www.cadsoft.de/downloads/libraries.
Third there are libraries available at element14.com. Follow this link:
http://www.element14.com/community/community/knode/cad_tools/cadsoft_eagle/eagle_cad_libraries
And also on farnell.com you can find more and more EAGLE library definitions for the components. On the product's page sometimes you find a link for an EAGLE library.
For a good advice how to create library components, please take a look into the EAGLE manual. Chapter 8 explains detailed how this works.
Best regards,
Richard
i want to know how to get the symbols for tssp6p38 and tsal6200 for eagle cad software, please provide me the symbols or please tell me where can i find it thanks a lot.
if possible,i want to know the symbol for apr 9600,please help me to come out that if possible...i got no other method to create...
i can't find the symbols on the link/website u mentioned, please provide me as fast as possible as i need it urgently...thanks a lot..
It's likely they may not already exist (since there are hundreds of thousands of components, it's fairly impossible to have a
complete library). So, they probably need to be created. It's not a good idea to accept someone else's symbols unless you know what you're doing and know how to correct them, because would (should) you really trust someone else's symbols? They may be incorrect, which causes weeks of headache. So, better to learn for yourself and get your design right first time.
The user manual is actually very good for this.
Unless the component is really generic (resistor, capacitor or some transistors) expect to spend time creating the components as part of the design. Schematic, board layout and component design is all needed for pretty much any design.
When I started out creating components, actually the only thing I had difficulty with was knowing what layers were for what purpose. I created the attached document - it describes what each layer does. It may help you. (It's for version 5, but may be the same for version 6 - I have not tried v6). Good luck!
