Just loaded V6.4. Whenever I try to pan by holding down the wheel (center button), it starts zooming. This is new behavior; it does not happen in previous versions of Eagle. Rotation of the wheel zooms in or out normally, but holding down the center button shouldn't affect the zoom. Any ideas?
What I think is happening: My mouse has side-to-side scrolling. Internally, there are 3 microswitches. One is activated when you push the wheel down; this is the middle mouse button and must be held down to pan. The other two switches, activated by slightly pushing the wheel to one side or the other, shouldn't do anything, and in V4 & 5, did nothing. In V6, however, Eagle seems to recognize those buttons, but instead of side-to-side scrolling, they zoom in and out, just like rotating the wheel. It is almost impossible to push the wheel down to pan without also activating one of the other switches; thus, when you pan, it also zooms. This is a real pain and a productivity killer.
I temporarily solved the problem by switching to an old mouse without the side-to-side scrolling feature. But I shouldn't have to do that. My regular mouse works fine in all previous versions of Eagle. Why was this behavior changed, and is it possible to change it back, or must I stay with V5 in order to use my regular mouse? My mouse is a Logitech M505; it has no other buttons outher than left, right, and wheel.
