Cam processing of existing board files

Hello Richard,

I have a number of old Eagle boards, without Gerber files. I have no version of Eagle installed now, but from years ago I think the CAM processor was removed from the layout software and could be used outside the license structure. Is this so still, and is it possible to download the CAM processor from somewhere? I need to make Gerber files from the existing boards. They are made with version 3.55, if that is important.

HI, each EAGLE version comes with the CAM Processor. Simply download the current EAGLE from our web site, use it as Freeware and generate manufacturing data with it. The CAM Processor of the Freeware can handle boards from higher editions as well. If you need an older version of EAGLE, look at ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/program . Best regards, Richard
