Eagle: Cannot have "Ground Plane" on Bottom layer!?

Hi,

I am learning Eagle and now cannot resolve some trivial problems. I have made minimalistic PCB with 3 elements on it. Board is intended to be one-side copper (Bottom) and one-side components (Top).

Now, when I want to make "Ground Plane" on Bottom layer - make polygon > name it "GND" > click on it again > "Ratsnest" > and ... I have nothing.

When I do that on "Top" layer - when I make "Polygon" on "Top" layer, I can easily do it and I can have "Ground Plane" on "Top" layer.

But, I need it on "Bottom" layer....

What am I missing here!?!

Hi, maybe there are no ground pads or vias inside the polygon area? The copper area can't be connected to anything and therefore nothing is visible???? Regards, Richard Hammerl
