Hi all,
I would like to explore this version for educational purposes, but I can't find it on the web.
Could someone please point me to a link where I can get this version of CadSoft Eagle 4.14 if it still exists?
Best regards.

Not the answer you are looking for but mu i suggest KiCAD?
The reason I make the suggestion is the statement "education purpose" in your post.
There are some really good resources on this site to support it.
Hi colporteur,
Thank you very much for your suggestion but the graphical interface of KICAD is very different from Eagle. But this is not the main problem.
Why do I need version 4.14? A long time ago there was a robotics club at school and the project files we found have this reference. We intend to recover these projects and verify that everything is correct in a newer version of Eagle.
Best regards.
I appreciate your constraints. I've experienced similar.
What version of Eagle do you have?
I have both 4.x and 6.5 on my computer. I think 6.5 can read version 4 files.
Do you just need to view schematics?
HI dougw,
Thank you very much for the reply.
In fact, we used version 5.11.0 and found that some symbols in the diagrams were not found.
To try to avoid this problem, just use version 4.14.
However, we may have another problem, possibly the members of our robotics group could have created a library for the components they needed but could not find in the existing libraries at that time. If this happened, then our work will be fruitless because we will not find any library in the projects. Let's see if we can get better results with the 4.16r2 version provided by cstanton.
Best regards.
Hi,
I thought EAGLE projects contained all library content so that they could be opened in a self-contained fashion. Is that not the case? It's been a while since I created an EAGLE project, so I can't recall.
If you're looking to modify or recreate the project, you may be better off re-entering the schematic and re-doing the PCB, in a more modern CAD package. If you're having trouble opening the project to obtain the schematic and PCB renders, you could share the files, to allow people who might have compatible versions to give it a shot to try to generate that output for you.

Eagle design files do include all component info - libraries are not needed to operate with existing design files.
Hi dougw,
I understand that, but then how do you explain that some components do not appear in the schematic?
In the .epf file of the projects I have two lines that lead me to confirm what I had already mentioned.
[Globals]
UsedLibrary="C:/Eagle/EAGLE-4.14/lbr/0_ESCCB.lbr"
UsedLibrary="C:/Eagle/EAGLE-4.14/lbr/All_Free.lbr"
These libraries do not exist by default in any version of Eagle, this may mean that we will not be able to reconstruct the schematics of the projects found.
Best regards.
That file is not important in this context. If you post the files, it will save everybody some time quickly checking them for you, if you are having difficulty opening them yourself. If it is commercially sensitive then I understand, but you mentioned it is some old uni project.
Hi shabaz,
Thank you very much for your tips.
I don't think it will be necessary to bother the community with the projects we find, as they should be very simple projects and if we spend some time I think that with some research we could eventually find them on the Internet.
For example, one of the projects we have already managed to recover is a "Dimmer light" and the others must be similar things.
Best regards
I'm sorry shabaz but I can't publish the project files because I may be committing some violation of the privacy of the members of the robotics group. And eventually they used schematics for which they did not have authorization. I do not wish to expose any less legal situation just for our curiosity.
Best reagrds.
