1.8mm and 3mm through-hole

Hi

I am using Eagle Light version and trying to find a library for hole (1.8mm and 3mm in diameter).

I tried using by-default holes.lbr and wirepad.lbr but the diameter for that holes are smaller than requirement.

Can somebody help me out? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you want a non-plated or plated through hole? You can just add these in the layout without adding a library part.

In layout do the following commands:

For non-plated holes -

grid mm
hole 1.8 <click to place>
hole 3 <click to place>

For plated holes -

grid mm
via round <click to place>
change drill 1.8 <click via to change>
via round <click to place>
change drill 3 <click via to change>

If you want to attach the plated holes to a particular net you can use the 'name' command to change their net name.

If you want the holes represented in the schematic which is a perfectly valid thing to do it'll probably take a minute or two to create library parts for the parts you require yourself.
